Special Weapons - 240919-1/2
A second generation Knight Armament Beretta 92FS semi auto 9mm pistol with a "Snap On" design suppressor. The suppressor is a can within a can, which utilizes urethane wipes and spacers for suppression. The weapon incorporates a special locking mechanism to keep the slide in place after the weapon is discharged, leaving no expended brass and forcing all expended gasses into the suppressor chamber. The locking mechanism automatically falls in the "down" position after firing. This allows the user to manually extract the brass and ready for the next shot. Very quite and very effective. This set up was used by special ops' groups during the Vietnam era and is still in use to day. No longer manufactured by Knight Armament Company.
