Pre 1986 Dealer Only Samples - 220222-1This weapon is an original US 1928A1 WWII Thompson Sub-Machine Gun classified as a Pre-1986 Dealer Sample weapon. It was imported into the country by Interarms, Alexandria, VA., before the 1986 ban. One of the rare Lend Lease weapons that are marked "Tommy Gun" with some armorer marks on the barrel. See jpeg. It has an early dated "Cutts" compensator; Savage marked finned barrel, and a flip up Lyman rear sight. The lower receiver serial number does not match, but that is common on WWII weapons. The original wood is in good condition, with a few dings here and there. It is a Pre Sample and may be kept in your possession if your license lapses.Class 2 and Class 3 Dealers Only On This Weapon! |
