M16 - 210517-1
A very rare Harrington & Richardson M16-A1, marked "Property of the U.S. Gov't". Tear drop forward assist, standard A-1 upper with 20" barrel, closed flash hider, and smooth butt stock without a trap door, which is correct for the H&R weapons. This weapon is in unfired condition and still has the paper oil tube in the bore. H&R was one of two companies outside of Colt Firearms that manufactured a very small percentage of M16's during the Vietnam War. This is not a John Stemple reweld. It is one of only a handful of uncut original Harrington & Richardson M16-A1's on the NFA Registry.
