Reising - 251206-1
A Commercial Model 50 Reising sub-machine gun in its original hardcase. This is a very nice package, with four 20 round, hard to find original magazines. The original hardcase is in excellent condition, with the exception of small piece of leather missing on the edge of the carry handle. (See jpeg) These hardcases are rarer than the weapons. Very few weapons were fitted with this type case and even fewer survived. The weapon finish is blue and in excellent+, to mint condition. Even the wood on this weapon is exceptional. I was lucky enough to obtain the history on this weapon, which is another bonus. The weapon was shipped from Harrington & Richardson to Federal Laboratories in December of 1941 and then to a Sheriff's Office, North Carolina in January of 1942. (This info will be available to buyer) It has been in that department until September of 2005 when I purchased it. A true WWII era weapon. If you are looking for a nice collector grade Reising 50, this is it.
